A few days ago, the education ministry uploaded a PDF file in their website alluding all the changes they have made. Many of you may not know this and some of you still have confusion regarding it. To remove all your doubts and to clarify you all, here we have given a full description about the latest question pattern and syllabus of JSC so that you may be benefited from it. First of all let's download the JSC Routine 2024 then JSC Suggestions and Question Paper for all Subjects.

JSC Bangla New Syllabus 2024

You will be surprised to hear that, this year there is no more Bangla 1st paper and 2nd paper. The education ministry has decided to combine these two subjects into one subject. This also refers that, in this new pattern Bangla course will contain 100 mark instead of 200.

For materializing this decision, education ministry had to create some changes in the question pattern also. To clear all your confusions, the question pattern is mentioned below-

Part A – subjective 

• Creative Questions (you have to answer 4 questions out of 6) – 40 marks
• Summary (Sharangsho/sharmormo) – 5 marks
• Amplification (Vab shomprosharon) – 5 marks
• Letter/application – 5 marks
• Essay – 15 marks (you have to answer one from 3)

Part B – Objective

There will be 30 questions where 16 questions will be given from the bangle text book and rest of the 14 questions will be given from the Bangla grammar book.

JSC English New Syllabus 2024

Just like Bangla, English is also turned into one single course named English. So, in the place of English 1st and 2nd paper, there will be only English. The question pattern is as follows-

English question has 4 parts. In part A, candidates will have to answer some test item. There will be 3 sections in the

Part – A (seen part – 20)

• Reading (MCQ)                               7 (1*7)
• Gap filling (without clues)               5
• Short answer question                      8 (2*4)

Part – B (unseen part – 25)

• Information transfer (1 text) – 5
• True/false – 5
• Cloze test with clues – 5
• Close test without clues – 5
• Matching – 5

Part – C (Grammar)

• Speech -5
• Punctuation – 5
• Use of articles – 5
• Changing sentences – 5
• (voice, sentences, interrogative, affirmative, negative, exclamatory) – 5
• Suffixes and prefixes – 5

Part – D (writing)

• Dialogue – 10
• Paragraph – 10
• Formal/informal e-mail – 10

03. JSC Math New Syllabus 2023 & Question Pattern

No changes are made in Mathematics. The question pattern will be the same like previous year. Yet the question pattern is discussed below for you-
There are two parts in the mathematics exam. One is subjective and other one is objective.
In subjective part 11 creative question will be given and students will have to answer 7 from them.

There will be 4 parts in the subjective exam –

• Algebra – 20 marks (You have to answer 2 questions out of three)
• Arithmetic – 20 marks (you have to answer 2 questions out of three)
• Geometry – 20 marks (you have to answer 2 questions out of three)
• Statistics – 10 marks (you have to answer 1 question out of two)

And in the objective part there will be 30 objective questions from the Math book. These questions can be given from anywhere of the book.

04. JSC Science New Syllabus 2023 & Question Pattern

The question paper is divided into 3 parts.  The subjective part, the objective part and the third part is practical about which science students are aware of.

• Part A – Subjective (7 question will have to answer within 11)
• Part B – objective (30 questions)

Time – 3 hours

There is 50 marks in this exam.

Time : 3 hours

14. JSC Agricultural Studies New Syllabus 2023 & Question Pattern

Agricultural Studies is a fourth subject for the JSC candidates. This subject will maintain the following question pattern-

• Part A – Subjective (you will have to answer 7 questions within 11)
• Part B – objective (30 questions)

Time: 3 hours
